£50 (+ Parts)

A Basic Check-Up Service for a bike in good condition. Recommended every 6 months or 750 miles whichever comes first.

Brake & gear adjustment
Check chain for wear & lubricate
Wheels checked for trueness and play
Check & inflate tyres
General safety check (handlebars, cranks & pedals etc)
Recommendations for any further work if required

The labour cost of fitting any replacement parts is not included.

General Service

£70 (+ Parts)

By far our most popular Service as it offers the best value for for money for most bikes. Recommended every 12 months or 1500 miles whichever comes first.

Brakes are balanced and tightened, pads or cables replaced if necessary
Gears are tuned and indexed, cables and parts replaced if necessary
Headset and bottom bracket are checked for play and adjusted if necessary
Chain checked for wear and cleaned or replaced if necessary & lubricated
Chainrings and cassette/freehub checked for wear, cleaned and lubricated
All bolts checked including handlebar, saddle and crank bolts
Wheels are trued, hubs are checked for play and adjusted if necessary
Wheel rim condition inspected for wear
Tyres are inflated to correct pressure

Unlike most bike shops, additional work such as the fitting of replacement parts is included with this service. e.g. fitting of tyres, new chain, gear cables or brakes pads (you just pay for the parts).

(Excludes suspension components and hydraulic brake bleeding)

£80 (+ Parts)

Bosch eBike Service

Full Overhaul

£150 (+ Parts)

The Full Monty for mile munchers or that bike that hasn't been out of the shed for the last 5 years. Recommended for the keen cyclist, off roaders and for the restoration of classic bikes.

In addition to the main service, we will strip your bicycle down to component level, including headset, wheel hubs and bottom bracket removal, replace loose wheel bearings if applicable and inspect condition of all components for wear or damage then reassemble using fresh lubricants.

Yesterday, my wife and I drove up from Edinburgh for Easter and I inspected our four bicycles, after being stored for winter. My bike had a flat tyre and unsurprisingly the three other bikes were in need of a good service and check over. Kevin responded to me within an hour affirming he would be down to Findhorn the next day to repair the puncture on my bike and carry out a thorough check over of the other three bikes. Not only did Kevin do all of that he also identified, two rusty brake cables and a gear cable on my wife’s bike that would surely have failed at some near point in the future.
I cannot speak more highly of the service and technical expertise that Kevin adds. The service he provides is 10 star! I know that I can absolutely count on him when the ‘chips are down’. Finally over and above all of that, he is a most genuine and authentic individual. Qualities that I admire and find all too rare these days.
